What's My Story?

At 15, my high school offensive line coach offered me a job washing trucks with his son. He was an owner-operator with a small flatbed fleet. For the next 2.5 years, I spent every Saturday in that shop, and I fell in love with trucking.

I wanted to learn everything I could about the industry, and it all relied on perspective. I worked my way through college while moving around the industry. Check calls at a 3PL brokerage, then driving a forklift in their warehouse. Transportation sourcing and strategy for a Fortune 500 shipper. Dispatch & load planning for the reefer division of one of the largest asset-based carriers in the country. A full year at each, learning how they operated, where they struggled, and what they needed.
